3/20/2020 Update:

In accordance with what the CDC has recommended, and in an effort to be wise in caring for the health and safety of all of our people, church will not meet in person this Sunday or next. We still will have a sermon which will be uploaded here on Facebook, to the church website, onto YouTube, and through our podcast on Sunday morning.

3/13/2020:

As news of Coronavirus impacts our nation and world, we are monitoring the latest updates and recommendations of this terrible virus on a daily basis.

We have total faith and confidence in the goodness and sovereignty of God. We also have a duty to protect each other and take precautions to keep ourselves and others safe. People should not panic over this virus, but we should exercise wisdom in our actions.

I wanted to share a few recommendations as we attempt to be proactive in combating this illness.

-If you’re in an at risk group, especially for those who are older than 70 and those who have a history of respiratory illnesses or pre-existing health conditions, you’re encouraged to consider avoiding large crowds over the next couple weeks. Your health is a priority.

-For the next few weeks, we want to encourage people to avoid close contact, which includes avoiding shaking hands and hugging.

-If you touch a door knob, pew Bible/hymnal, the pew in front of you, or other commonly contacted surface, we encourage you to wash your hands.

-We also encourage people who cough or sneeze to make sure you’re coughing into your arm and washing your hands.

-If you do have flu like symptoms, you’re encouraged to stay home.

-Pray for our church, for our leaders, for our nation, and for the world as we fight this new virus.

The best places for information are the CDC and the WHO. The CDC has a website dedicated to this virus at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

Blessings,

Josh

+Sunday Morning

What To Expect on Sunday Morning!

We offer Sunday School for all ages at 9:30am. After that, our Sunday morning services begin at 10:30am in the Sanctuary. During this time we worship God in music, prayer, and by the preaching of His Word, the Bible. Children’s Church is offered for children between Pre-K and the 5th grade during the preaching portion of the service.

The services usually last about an hour, concluding between 11:30 and 11:45.

+Our Mission

Our Mission at Christian Bible Church is simple: we exist to bring glory and honor to God. We do this through four distinct, yet complementary, ways: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, and Evangelism.
